Every agency shows case studies, and most buyers read them the wrong way: they look at the size of the number and stop there. This page shows results from our HVAC work and then reads each one the way a careful buyer should, asking what was measured, over what period, and what part of the result could transfer to another business.

How to read any case study, including ours
Before the numbers, a short checklist. Use it on our case studies and on every agency's.
- Is the client named and the site live? Anonymous case studies can't be checked.
- What exactly was measured? "Leads", "traffic" and "ROI" mean different things in different reports.
- Over what period? A result over 90 days and a result over three years tell different stories.
- What was the starting point? Percentage growth from a tiny base is easy; from a large base it is hard.
- What did the client contribute? Fast call-backs, good reviews and fair prices drive results as much as marketing does.
We apply the same questions in every vendor audit we run.
HVACDeal.ca: return measured against ad spend
HVACDeal.ca generated 500+ leads with a 12:1 ROI. HVACDeal.ca is a seasonal offer funnel for heating, cooling and water heater services in BC's Lower Mainland.
What a buyer should notice: a return ratio is only meaningful if you know what sits on each side of it. When an agency quotes a return figure to you, ask whether it is calculated on revenue or profit, and whether fees are included alongside ad spend. Those two questions can change a ratio dramatically. Our budget planning work starts from gross profit for exactly this reason.
CombiBoiler.ca: volume and return together
Three separate scoreboards moved for CombiBoiler.ca: 500+ page-1 rankings for combi-boiler keywords, 300+ leads a month, and a 300% ROI.
What transfers: the result combines three different measures. Rankings show visibility, leads show demand captured, and ROI shows whether that demand paid. Many agency reports stop at the first measure. A buyer should insist on all three, and especially on the last.
BCWide.ca: speed of improvement
BCWide.ca tripled its leads in 90 days.
What transfers: quick gains are often available when an account has obvious gaps, such as poor tracking, unfocused ad targeting or a website that makes calling hard. That's why audits frequently pay for themselves early. A 90-day window is also a sensible first checkpoint for any new vendor; our oversight service uses quarterly reviews for the same reason.
Roma Heating & Cooling: organic growth over a year
Roma Heating & Cooling grew organic traffic by 400% in 12 months.
What transfers: search visibility builds over months, not weeks. If a proposal promises fast organic results, ask what the plan is for months one to six, and how progress will be shown before traffic arrives. Note too that traffic is a step toward enquiries, not the goal itself.
HeatLand: content at scale, measured in leads
For HeatLand, the content library grew past 850+ SEO articles, and within 6 months leads were up 300%.
What transfers: a large content programme is only worth the cost if it produces enquiries. The useful question for any content proposal is not "how many articles?" but "how will we know which articles bring customers?" Make sure tracking can answer that before paying for volume.
What these results don't show
They don't show results in plumbing, legal, retail or any other sector, and we won't present them as if they did. They also don't promise outcomes for your business. Results depend on your market, your prices, your capacity and how fast you answer the phone.
What they do show is a method that works when goals are clear and measurement is honest. That method sits at the centre of every service we offer, from agency selection to ongoing oversight. Full write-ups for all our HVAC case studies are on the HVAC.Agency case studies page.

Frequently asked questions
Are these results from businesses like mine?
They come from HVAC and heating companies in Canada, so we present them as results from our HVAC work. We use them to show method and measurement, not to promise similar numbers in another industry.
Can I verify these case studies?
Each client's website is linked on this page, and the full write-ups are on the HVAC.Agency case studies page. Check them yourself, exactly as you should check any vendor's claims.
What results should I expect from an advisory engagement?
Advisory results look different from campaign results: a clearer budget, cleaner tracking, a tighter contract, or a better hiring decision. We agree in writing at the start what a successful engagement will look like.
